As a consignor, you are our partner. We work hard to give our consigning partners the very best price and quickest sale possible. The following policies are developed after many, many years of experience and are designed to achieve this goal for both of us.

• All clothing must be brought in on hangers or they will not be accepted. We do not return hangers you brought in, but can provide replacements. No more than 10 items per day may be brought in! All consignments must be clearly identified with your name and telephone number prior to arrival at the store.

• Consignments are accepted during normal business hours; no appointment is necessary.

• Please avoid bringing your consignments on Saturday or within the last hour of business.

• All clothing items are to be freshly laundered and ironed or dry-cleaned. No pet hair on the clothing, please!

• Clothing items must be in like-new condition.

• We only accept current styles of designer and upscale labels – nothing older than two-years; dated clothing and items  such as Kohl's and Old Navy will not be accepted.

• Pricing will be maintained for 45-60 days. After that time, they will be reduced to half price.

• You will receive 50% of the sales income from your consignment. There is no fee for consigning.

• Items that have been reduced to half price and remain unsold for two weeks, will be donated to a quality charity of our choice. Donation receipts are available on request.

• Checks are not available before the 5th of the month for your previous month’s sales. A $1 processing fee will be deducted from each check. We do not mail checks except to our out of state consigners. We will hold your check here at the store for up to six months.

• It is your responsibility to mark your calendar before the effective date and retrieve items you do not want reduced in price or donated. Items left after two weeks at half price will no longer be available.

• Please take note that Cotton Kloset is not responsible for theft, damage, or loss of consigned property. You agree to consign at your own risk.
